This structure was demolished by 2012. Jeff writes: On the left side of the ground floor was my grandfather’s drugstore from the 1930’s through the 1950’s. His name was T.E. Megahee, a pharmacist, and was often called “Doc”. At one time a doctor occupied part of the second floor. In about 1960 the drugstore was moved across the street and west one block and was owned by my father, also a pharmacist, until his retirement in 1989.

Hey Jeff, kind of wild, but I found this searching for TE Megahee. I found a small apothecary bottle with his name on it! Is this something you’d be interested in?
This building has now been demolished.
Sad to hear, Patti. Thanks for letting me know; it seemed it was one of the few reminders of earlier days in Norman Park.
