Hutto’s Store, Friendship

Mike Price writes: This (was) Hutto’s Store. It was run by John and Ruth Hutto forever. John passed away in the early 80s and Mrs. Ruth in the mid 80s or thereabout. The were a fixture in this county for many years and very well respected and missed by all.

    I live just up the road from the old Hutto store. I remember as a kid my granddad taking me and my cousins up there to get ice cream.

    I don’t think the location is correct unless they opened more than one location…I’m 100% sure this store is right up the road from where I live in Crawford County.

      This store is on Marshalls Mill Rd.In Crawford co..The location of (Friendship) is correct,If you take a right turn on GA Hy 42 you will see n the left at the old fire house and polling location…The polling location is actually called Friendship Community Center. Friendship is the OLD name of the community

    this photo is of hutto’s store.this store was ran by john,and ruth hutto,for ever john passed away in the early 80s and mrs ruth in the mid 80s or there about.they are both buried about 1/4 mile south in the cematary at the churchthey are both in the first plot you come to.this couple was a fixture in this county for many years and very well respected,and missed by all
