The building on the corner most recently served as the Uvalda City Hall, but was originally the Brogdon Bank and its successor, the Altamaha Bank.

I worked at this bank when Altamaha Bank and Trust first located there. Then we built a new main office down the street.
This building was previously the location of The Altamaha Bank (this is where Altamaha Bank first started they now have four branches) Before Altamaha Bank it was Brodgon Bank. City Hall is now located in a new building.
