Born just across the Hwy 30 from Meyers Store in 1939. My grandfather Joseph Solomon Morris and Viola Kinchen Morris bought the farm in 1905-06? Lived and went to Stuckey Baptist Church. We all knew the Hattaway family and many others living in Stuckey. I’m 86 now and living in south Florida and will try to make one more trip with my wife. My bother and family are all buried over in Telfair county with my mothers family Thomas Ralph Hinson.
This old store belong to a cousin of mine. Emmett Hattaway. On the left side of this building Gypsy’s use to camp out there a lot and nearly stole him blind. Dot Hattaway Brown

Had a bad car wreck there in January of 2008 my car almost went thru that building still have bad memories of that spot!
