Leonard Carter was my 3rd great grandfather. I am a descendent of his son, Clyde L. Carter, his grandson Hal Wesley Carter, his great grand-daughter Carolyn Carter who is my grandmother, his 2x great grand-daughter Joya R. Smith who is my mother. I have heard many fantastic stories and have never seen this house before just now via internet. It is beautiful, I must say.
I live in Jesup and have always admired the beauty in this house

I am related to both. Florence and Estella were sister, but I am a descendent of Estella.
