Stores like this were the convenience stores of their time, offering groceries, sundries and gas. Few remain in business today. Frank Flanders III writes: [this] was a gas station, country store with a small meat counter, as well as a bait shop owned by Frank B. Flanders Sr. It was built in the early 1960’s and closed in the 70’s.
It is so amazing that such a small store could support a family years ago.
