Sanders House, Pulaski

An old, weathered Victorian cottage with a porch and decorative trim, surrounded by overgrown vegetation and a dilapidated white picket fence.

Fay Stapleton Burnett writes: Home of the late Mildred Sanders, a friend of my Mother, Sue Nell Jones Stapleton. I remember visiting this house many times as a child growing up on Rosemary Church Road……

I lived in a small house behind this house in Pulaski. Mildred Sanders was my landlady…$20 a month. I painted that fence and the roof when I didn’t have $20. She was the librarian at Ga Southern.

I love all your photographs! I lived in South Georgia many years ago and loved the houses and the people!

What I would give for that beautiful porch woodwork! Truly a God-given talent and skill of unbelievable artistry. I surely hope the owner will preserve it. Thanks for the opportunity to see it.
