Some of you may remember this old farmhouse on the outskirts of Broxton that I photographed a few years ago. It originally featured a mural done by owner Linda Christian. She really enjoyed doing it and was happy that it brought lots of joy to passersby on US441. It’s presently being spruced up, with a new face, by Dylan Ross. Dylan is a native of Coffee County whose extraordinary talent has garnered him scores of impressive clients and fans ranging from Aaron Murray and Luke Bryan to Lennox Lewis and Dennis Rodman. His work is really fresh and colorful and he’s a working artist in the sense that he’s always creating art.
We drive by coming and going from Florida to NC. We love this mural. Thank you Dylan! It is amazing!!!

It is still there. Linda died a year ago and I’m not sure who owns the property. My son is the artist who painted the barn.
Linda’s husband TJ is still alive and lives there.
yes mam. it is still there. I pass by it at least twice a week. It looks like someone is really cleaning up around property. sure hope the mural stays.

The artist, Dylan Ross, is the great grandson of A I Sinclair who you wrote about in the article about the Wooten/Sinclair store in Snipesvile.
What a great way to put a smile on everyone’s face.. It is a joy to see people turning around to come back and look. Or the ones pulled over taking pictures. I remember the first time I saw it. I was in awe ! Thank you Dylan and Miss LInda.
I lived in that house when I was a little boy maybe 5 years old i think the house has been added on to since we lived there. My grandparents ran the gas station at the 441 and Fitzgerald highway intersection.

You were around a half mile from my house when you took this picture. My wife and I really love this art work. I pass by it every Sunday at least on the way to pastor my 2 churches in Lumber City. Dodges Chapel and Shelton Chapel UMC.
