I just like the name of this street in Pitts.
Actually Pitts is just a suburb of Moccasin Slide. At one time there was a sign up that said “Population 13”. The name originated in the early 1980s when a couple of local guys were renting a house at the end of the road and they wanted a unique and humorous way to identify their address.
Moccasin Slide. Interesting. I don’t even know where Pitts, GA, is but I’ll look it up.
And, given that Pitts is in South Georgia, you know they did not name it for Indian shoes…
