I have a photo of my grandfather Frank Chester visiting the store in the mid-1950s. He was born near there in 1885 and visited the store when he was a boy.
Would love to see it, Tom Chester.
Hi Brian,
I found the photo of my grandfather Frank Chester at the Grizzle store in Nimblewill store in the mid-1950s. If you email me your email address I will send it to you.
I also have a photo of him in his late teens around 1905 or before when it looks like he is about to leave on a trip. There are several other people in the photo but the only one who is identified is his brother Arthur Chester. I could send it in the hope that someone might help identify the others, although the chances of that are slim.
Tom
Tom, I’d love to see them and share them here. Please email to wbrianbrown@gmail.com
I think in the 90’s we would use this store as crossroads meeting point to get onto the nearby FS roads. Seems like it was off of 515 somewhere.

Thanks, Jessie. I will update.
