I think my Great Aunt Tommy Tillman may have had something to do with that house. She looked after her nephew, Ronald Coleman, my father, during his adolescence there when his life was made rough by the death of his mother and the harshness of his father. Is there any way to confirm?
I think it’s crying out to be painted. It’s so 1890s, with the steep pitch of those gables. Very Victorian. It looks to be in decent shape, too. Now I want to find out who these people were who owned it and what they did there, in Metter. Thanks for another rabbit hole to dive into.

A book! How wonderful!
Sad looking house. A coat of paint would do wonders.
Really enjoy these old photos of days gone by…thanks for sharing them
Yay!
I really enjoy these. Is there a book with all this in it?
Thanks. I’m working on a book at the moment.
