This is our home and we love it! It was built by B.Z. and Elizabeth Whitehurst in 1892. The first home burned, believed to be from arson. We aren’t sure if our house was an exact copy of the first or not. It belonged to the same family for over 80 years and was loved and taken care of which can be seen today due to the amount of original wood and details. Since then, there have been some changes and also some disrepair but was bought and had improvements made without taking away the charm. We enjoy it so much!
