Isle of Hope Historic District, National Register of Historic Places
40 or so years ago, this house had fallen into disrepair and was for sale. I looked into buying it, but it was something like $120,000 (early 1980’s) and needed easily another $50,000 worth of repairs. I did not have that kinds of money; but would have snatched it up if I had! It has since been renovated and is across the street from the Marina.
