This Mid-Century Modern/Googie laundromat is a rare form for Fitzgerald and was owned by Ike McElmurray. It was an active business until a few years ago.

I wonder if it had also been a convenience store before it became a laundromat? About 50 years ago I knew of a store called “ Handy Andy” with similar architecture in another town.
