This is a neat and unusual tobacco barn. I love its appearance. I was reared on tobacco farms. These barns served a specific purpose for curing tobacco; however, they were also places of isolation and sites for deep thinking. One could go there when the tobacco season was over and find peace. Sitting on the tobacco benches, one could dangle your shoeless feet and thank the good Lord that the tobacco season was over, and you had survived another year. Long live the memories of the tobacco barns and the roles they played in the growing up years of many South Georgia boys and girls.
