
Gray’s Grove Baptist Church is an historic African-American congregation whose establishment likely dates to the late 19th century. The present church structure probably dates to the first decade of the 20th century, at the latest.

I have not been able to locate any history for the the church thus far, but hope that someone will help tell the story of this place. It’s a rural landmark which obviously has a rich history.


Such a beautiful place. It’s a shame that’s it’s in the shape it’s in.
Is it still open I drove by earlier today and didn’t see no cars there
I don’t think so. The cemetery is kept up but the building looks like it’s been a long time since it’s been used.
