The structures of this historic farm have long been abandoned but indicate that it was once a very prosperous operation. The Victorian farmhouse (above) is nearly gone.
A garage and hay barn remain on the property.

What magnificent structures & forgotten or unknown history. Wish the respect for the past, judgement free, with an intent to preserve was rampant. There lies the most understanding of who we all are here & now, not trying to be profound, I truly believe it
I agree with you! Some of my ancestors were from Emanuel County, but I don’t know how many of their former dwellings may still be standing now 🤔
The Edenfield, Faircloth, Barwick & Partin families were likely kin to me in some way.
