This sign, across from Hunter’s Cafe, sums up the mood around Shellman Bluff; no hurries and no worries. The words change from time to time, but the message really doesn’t. It overlooks the idyllic Julienton River, a tributary of the Sapelo River.

This place has sparked my imagination. I was raised in coastal Maine. I have missed the water. And Shellman Bluff is close to the Atlantic Ocean!! And Hunter’s Cafe has live music on Saturday nights! I like the cross and the display of our flag of The United States of America.
