Though located in the heart of the historic district of Columbus, St. George’s Anglican dates to 1987. Its simple architecture, with Gothic influence, is well-suited to the district.

This is reminiscent of a much smaller chapel-sized church in Douglas, GA, on the right-hand side of the highway leading into downtown. I have driven by that one one many times, but not had the opportunity to go inside. This one looks to be much grander, though still relatively simple in style.
