Hey Brian – did you happen to get a picture of the far brick building on the corner? Once upon a time, I believe that was the martial arts studio my dad tried to start. I remember driving by years later, long after we’d moved, and saw the decal still on the window – a ninja in front of a star I think. The roof had fallen in. I know they’ve boarded it up since then, but it does look like your pictures may have been before that point. I would love it someone had caught a picture of it before it went away.
I’m not sure if I have a shot of that building, but will look through my archive. I hope so, but can’t be sure. We take a lot of these old storefronts for granted and many hold good memories. So many of the smallest towns have lost so many structures in the past 20-30 years. A real tragedy.
Thank you so much! And thank you for documenting them all so faithfully.
This is just the way it was when I was a small boy. thank you for showing the way it was
It means a lot that it reminds you of that time. Thank you!
This picture is flawless. I love your work!
