This same basic design was used for many homes in the 1880’s in Georgia. In this case, they added a bay window in front, and two windows in the room off the porch. Other than that, it is almost identical (mirror image) of my grandparents’ home in Candler County.
This house once belonged to the Jordan family. Jesse Marshall Jordan jr and his family lived in it until they built another home on Depot Street.
