The old family home. My great grandfather, Marcus Nathaniel Durden, and my grandfather, Marcus Lerod Durden, lived here.
This was the home of my Great-Grandfather, Marcus Nathaniel Durden. I know he lived in the home as recent as 1962, and passed away in 1968. My mother, the former Colleen Rowland, lived in the house for about 6 months in 1962 after the birth of my older sister while my father was stationed in Japan as a hospital corpsman at Atsugi Naval Air Facility.
