This is one of my favorite houses in Camilla. It seemed for a time that it was being restored, but on recent trips it seems to just be abandoned.

It has been restored and is absolutely beautiful.
It would be beautiful restored. It has a French Creole look as those in southern Louisiana.
7 of 8 my siblings were born in this house. Wish I had known it was to be sold. I would have loved to buy it.

Oh my family didn’t own the house. It was rented by my parents and grandparents. Don’t know the name of the owner. That was 66 years ago lol. I do know that it is on historical registry. The city bought this house and renovated it and us using as an outreach center.
