This was the longtime home of Milton Lane “Mickey” (1922-1998) and Madge Harper Paulk (1923-1993). Mickey was the owner of Paulk Funeral Home.

It is a gorgeous old home. I especially love seeing pictures from Fitzgerald, and nearby. My aunt was born in Fitzgerald back in 1921, and I also remember how kind the Paulk’s (Funeral Home) to us when we brought my Gramma home to be buried at Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist in Irwin County. Lots of Jernigan’s, Mobley’s, Harper’s, and some Paulk’s out there.
