This congregation dates to 1829, and the present church building to the turn of the last century. This photo really doesn’t do it justice; it’s one of the largest churches I’ve seen in any small town in Georgia.

The Monticello Presbyterian Church is magnificent. A small cemetery in the church yard and every inch of the church well maintained along with an immaculate ground. I pay respect to the congregation for preserving this beautiful church. The only way to appreciate the church is to walk around it. I plan to visit a service just to see the inside.
Thanks for the beautiful photo! I attended Monticello Pres when I lived there…lovely church and really nice people!
