I am sooo glad you have discovered Elbert Co. My early ancestors helped settle it. It has much, much history!!!! If you spend some time there, may I suggest that you visit Janice at the Christian book store in the Elberton Square. She is very learned in the history.

Sir, There is an old barn in Elbert County that is over 100 years old Dating in some of the foundation is 1903. The structure is as sound as the day it was first built. I know well about the barn because I lived there for over 60 yrs. It is located 2 mi south of Elberton on GA #77. I would be pleased to send you some HD pics of the place if you prefer…
