This house was recently exposed when land was cleared.  It’s a very common vernacular style, once ubiquitous throughout South Georgia.

Update: As of March 2022, this structure appears to be near collapse.

      Corner of Crepe Myrtle Road and 319. Across from Bugle Lane Road. Mrs. Rachel Parrish, who lives nearby, related that it was part of Dorothy Gibbs Chapman’s family’s farm.

    And it’s in better shape than most others because it was shielded from the weather by the trees. Thank you for all the work you do to preserve these places on film.
