This church is much like the one that I attended as a child. The Excelsior United Methodist was located near the Snipesville, Georgia crossroad in southwest Jeff Davis County. Regretfully, it does not exist as a Methodist today. It is now an independent church. It is a shame that so many traditional churches are closing.
