Harden’s Store, Stapleton Crossroads

This served most recently as the precinct house for the Stapleton Crossroads community [not to be confused with nearby Stapleton]. Before it was used as a precinct house, it was a general store. Mikel Skinner writes: This store was my Aunt Maggie Harden’s store. Her father ran the store before her and served as a magistrate judge as well at the location. I have many fond memories of the store and the home that used to sit across the yard. I was recently given a picture of the store when it still had a shake roof. Wonderful memories.
