There are at least two of these hip-roofed utilitarian structures remaining in Odessadale. The form was once much more common in the area.

Lots of my HARMAN ancestors are buried in the Odessadale Methodist Church cemetery. My father was David Hill Harman, who is buried in Alpharetta, Georgia . Are there still services at the Church ? ( Their pastor used to be a “circuit rider” who pastored several churches in the area.)
