Goodman-Rigdon House, Circa 1819, Bulloch County

An old two-story house with a metal roof, surrounded by overgrown grass and trees, featuring a porch and multiple windows.

This home was built by Reverend Jesse Goodman. Thanks to Kenneth Dixon for the identification; Reverend Goodman was his 6th great uncle.

Does anyone have more information on this home? This home was owned by the slave owner of my family and I am trying to get more information on the home and the people who owned it, and also my family who were slaves on this land….

This house is located on Mud Road, near the Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church, on left if heading West towards Denmark, GA. The Church is located then on the right.
