A. T. Fuller House, 1955, Ocilla

Mr. Fuller’s grandson, Richard Owens, notes that the home was designed by prominent architect William Frank McCall, Jr., who was working for the Macon firm of W. Elliott Dunwoody at the time.

Thanks for posting this photo. It certainly brings back memories. A.T. and Frances Fuller were my grandparents and I lived in this house for several years as a child.

The Fuller’s were church and community friends of ours, when I grew up and attended the Ocilla UMC. Mr. & Mrs. Fuller were kind, hospitable Souheners, who loved their community, served it and urged it to grow. Mr. Fuller was an avid golfer – and good one, too – even at an advancing age (75), when I remember him, well.
