Hello, i’m concerned about this town in Patterson Pierce, Georgia called the Ridge, because my mother lived there back in 1944, I heard something happen there to my mother. She was ran out of town at the age of 16 or 17 years old, my mother was very fair skin she almost looked non-black, but you can tell buy the texture of her hair that She was black, her name was Viola Grant, her mother was Lizzy Miller, Lizzy lived there and gave birth to my mother in 1927, but she lost her mother when she was five years old, her mother was given birth to her baby brother, and Lizzie passed away giving birth, but the child was born and lived to be a year old and passed away, I don’t know who Viola Grant‘s father was, but When Lizzie passed away her father abandoned her, he left with a woman that had 7 children, so my mom was brought up with whoever would take care of her, I think the Matthews, they lived on the ridge too. I was just wondering if you or someone you know ever heard about a story like this and New the names of Viola Grant and Lizzy Miller and maybe the Matthews, rivers, booth, also Thomas. If anyone does please let me know, I’m also on FB as Necie Carmen wake forest NC
