This Greek Revival landmark, known locally as “The Cottage”, was built for Neal Patterson between 1855-1859.

    I was looking up this particular house to see if it was still standing. Found an illustration of this house at a Thrift Store yesterday. Covington is of personal interest now that my parents have moved there. 🙂
    It is Dated ’66, but I can’t read the signature. I do have photos- overall & close ups of the subject/ title & signature.
    I live in Tucker, GA. The Thrift Store is in Chamblee, GA.
