This house has an overall Queen Anne appearance but the columns would not have been used originally with that style. It’s an unusual house, and so large it makes me wonder if it were not a boarding house. I hope to learn more.

The incongruence of this home caused me to take a couple of side-glances at it. The columns appear to be somewhat Greek Revival but the rest of the home does not. I don’t know a lot about architecture but I do have an eye for beauty. I would say this home is out of sync with itself and is not appealing in my opinion.
The house is gable end house with a porch across the front. It was extensively altered in 1917, giving it the Colonial Revival flair it has today, adding gabled dormers on three sides and a two-story portico supported by fluted columns to the front facade

I don’t think I’ve seen this architectural style before. Interesting and attractive!
