I’ve always loved this little house and with every glance at the details it proves itself to be a master work of the carpenter who built it. It’s a real skill to fit architectural details into such a small space without overwhelming the structure, but it was done seamlessly here.

Brian,
I’m sad to report that the house is being demolished by the new owners; I have current photos of it, if you are interested.
I spent the night there many times, as it was my late brother-in-law’s boyhood home, which was built by his grandfather; the family descendants had no further need for the house after everyone had passed, so it was sold to the new owners who are having it dismantled.
I was lucky enough to claim some of the original lumber from the house, which I am currently making into photo frames for family members.
