Hello Brian,
This is my hometown church. I was raised there and attended First Methodist in Valdosta all my young life and up until I was a married adult and left Valdosta for North Carolina. This is one of the most beautiful churches in Valdosta and the inside is gloriously beautiful. I sang in the youth choir and the adult choir for many years. I was married in the chapel just around the corner on Valley Street. This is a beautiful photo and I’ve saved it to a folder I have of Valdosta photos and friends that still live there. I no longer live in Georgia, but love to read about Valdosta and surrounding areas on the Internet. This is the first time I have seen your web site….and it is really nice.
I photographed a Methodist Church in Pennsylvania. The steeple and architecture is similar to your photograph. Do you know any of the history of the church architecture?

Thanks for looking at my photograph. I really don’t have any information on this church, but will try to find something.
