Brian, this beautiful old church is where my husband (from Marshallville) and I were married in 1970. Marshallville has some lovely old homes. There is also a “swimming pool” there somewhere…well, really a swimming “hole” that the kids swam in for many years.
Thanks for your comments, Cheryl. Hearing from you actually inspired to update my photograph. I’ve been re-editing my entire website and haven’t gotten to Macon County yet. But I figured this was as good a time as any to add a better photo. And you’re right, it is a beautiful old church.
