This building was for many years my grandfather’s (Dr. Alphonso Radford Sims) medical office. The Richland telephone exchange was located on the second floor at one time. I also have a picture of the first two automobiles in Richland taken in the street in front of the bank, In that picture my great grandfather (Dr. Walter Calhoun Sims) holds my infant grandfather in the front seat of his REO.
