This home originally belonged to my Great Aunt Maud Cleveland Whittle . When she was widowed, her sister, my Great Aunt Ollie Cornelia Cleveland, came to live there with her. They lived there until their deaths. The home was later sold and also became a rental home. The last time I was there, 2 years ago, it was abandoned. I do not know the present owner.

Hi Brian Brown!!! Well, I now realize, I accidentally sent YOU my note to my friend, Cheryl. But, maybe you’ll enjoy it. I guess I clicked on ‘reply’ instead of ‘forward.’ I had introduced Cheryl to your site awhile back, because she paints beautiful watercolor paintings, and 90% of them are houses, or buildings of one kind or another. That theme is her passion. We are in a Senior Watercolor Class together, so I get to enjoy seeing her paintings, as they progress. She loves your site, too. I live in El Cajon, CA San Diego area . . But, both sides of my family genealogy date back to Georgia, cities of Gainesville, and Talking Rock, surnames Glaze/Wade/Evans, and in Carroll County the surnames of Bryce/Aderholdt. My brother, Ivy Glaze (yes a girl name) lives in Omega, GA, but was born & raised in Brawley, Imperial Valley, Calif, and moved to Omega in the 1970’s where his wife’s family live .. surname Fletcher. Brawley is in Southern Calif, about 12 miles from Mexico. My family went from Gainesville, Georgia 1880’s .. to Waco, TX .. then on to Brawley, CA 1930. Have a good week, month, year, Brian!! I appreciate, and so respect you for what you are accomplishing. In gratitude, Nell Hinson… phone 619-588-9456 … roycenell@cox.net

Hi Cheryl ~ Just gotta say, “Don’t you just love all these new photos he sends us whenever he gets a break from photography long enough to catch up on entering them on his site?? I think of you with each photo he sends, and wonder what you think of it. Especially the ones that would make a good painting. He is doing such a wonderful job recording an essence of these bygone days, that much of will just finally lie in the dirt on their own, if they aren’t torn down first. I really appreciate the extra time he spends to send these out individually, so we can see each one. It would take forever to find where/when new ones are posted on his Main Site. We need to write him a thank-you note, huh? What a guy!! C..U..Tomorrow . . . . LoveNell
