Abandoned House, Eulonia

The shot below was made through the shade of an ancient oak, which I imagine was the center of life in this yard. Many houses like this are being exposed by land clearing on the inner coast and offer a glimpse into a bygone era.

As of 2021, this structure is no longer standing.

It kind of baffles me how these houses just get forgotten over the years. I’m sure this house was once vibrant, full of life with kids running in and out, a dog or two laying in the yard. So many stories in that house, I’m sure.
