I believe this was originally a tenant house.
If this is the house just west of US # 1 on HWY 56. My father Joe Lillard was born in that house 4-14-1944.

We had tenant houses that had newspaper wallpaper to keep the
cold out. Maybe a well or at least a pipe from the landowners
old windmill tank. A tough life, but better than most in those

Probably 1930s.
