The similarity of the architecture in this house and the one just down the tracks in Millwood lead me to think they may have been constructed by the same builder.

The house in Millwood GA that has the stacked gables indeed is the twin of the other house. Twin brothers owned them. They owned most of Millwood and the mill. The house with the stacked gables still stands but the other I believe burned down a couple of years ago.
