Mitchell-Parks House, 1911, Lincolnton

Perhaps the most interesting house in Lincolnton is this one, built by a local pharmacist in 1911. It’s a Sears-Roebuck kit house, specifically Modern Home No. 124.

The cost for the kit was around $1330. It was quite modern when it was built, indeed.
