i am also a vickers. Lindsy Vickers. i am kin to henry “red eye” vickers bunch. My fathers name is darryl deron vickers. My dad was military so we traveled a bit. I moved to coffee county over ten years ago and this house has always drawn me so close. I told my house so many times i wish i could own that home. then to find out that this is a vickers home melts my heart even more. I got to dig the history here up. im eager to know. wish i could tour this home.

I believe Lewis Vickers. He has two daughters still living. He was my grandfather’s first cousin. His second wife was Emma McEachin or McEachern… of Hazlehurst. His brother in law was Zene Kirkland who married her sister… I think. He had a house on Gaskin Avenue, too. Lewis’s house actually faces Ward Street.

Would you happen to know the daughters names? I’m trying to look some things up with genealogy
