The congregation who built this typical late-19th century house of worship organized in the idyllic Apple Valley community in 1887 and raised this structure the next year. It is thought to have also been used as a schoolhouse.
My favorite email notification is Vanishing North Georgia. Having lived in north Georgia for 64 years I’ve seen some of the places & structures but I haven’t seen most…and given the history including architectural styles is fantastic!! I’m so thankful that this most worthwhile endeavor is knowledge that’s made available.
