Cook House, Parrott

I nearly included this house with the other Queen Annes of Parrott, but after much debate, decided it was actually an eclectic Folk Victorian. While the overall footprint of the house is Queen Anne, the porch is decidedly not. Eclecticism was popular at the turn of the last century, so I’m not sure if this mixture of styles is original or a later modification. Thanks to Parrott native Beth Alston, I now have a name for the house. She also notes it’s rumored to be haunted.
