According to Shawn Rhodes, it was most recently used as Snow Hill Church (early 1980s – 2003).

Hi,
My mother, aunts, and uncles grew up attending Snow Hill Baptist Church. This means that it have been used as a church for at least as long as it was originally used as a school, as my eldest uncle was born in 1936. And, my youngest aunt was born in 1957. This was their family church. The Passing of the Pines (v.1).
My mother, mardelle stonecypher mcwhorter, use to tell me everytime we went by there, that she went to school there when she was a little girl.
Brian, Do you know Delano Braziel? I bet he would know. Tell me what road/where it is in relation to downtown and I’ll ask him?
This building was used as a church fairly recently. It was Snow Hill Church from at least the early 1980s until about 2003. Before that, I have no knowledge of its use.
