This typical commercial block was built by D. H. Huff and served as the Porter Brothers Store until 1951.

Records indicate a date of 1904 for construction of this farmhouse, but it is much earlier. It features sidelights and a wonderful front gable. Due to rapid growth in the area, it is likely vulnerable.


These ruins are all that remain of a general store in the ghost town of Eastville.

Some might call this style Gothic Revival and others, Queen Anne. Its construction date would suggest the influence of both.



This house has a Georgian Cottage layout with Queen Anne influences, so it could be called “Folk Victorian”.
